Ryan Martin

Career Highlights

Ryan is a long, strong, athletic forward who has the versatility to play both forward positions. He has the prototypical size and athleticism of a SF and the skills of the PF. Ryan is known for his athleticism, strength, and high motor. He possesses many mismatches as he has the size to take any SF to the rack and has the quickness and shooting ability to score on any PF. Ryan is a two way player and a good defender. He can guard the PF, SF, and even some centers. He runs the floor extremely well and can beat opponents down the floor for easy baskets. He is a very good rebounder on both ends of the floor because he is very quick to the ball and uses his length well. He can score both in the paint and also has a nice touch on his jump shot.  Ryan has played all over Europe in VTB, Denmark, France, Italy, Slovakia, and Belarus.  He also played for the British National Team.

In his senior season (2015-16) at Tennessee Tech he averaged 14ppg, 8rpg, 1bpg, and 1apg. He was named to the OVC All-Newcomer Team and to the All-OVC 2nd Team. He led his team to the OVC East Division Regular Season Co-Runner-Up.
