Nijal Pearson

Nijal is a dynamic wing that can shoot and score the basketball.  He is a smooth athlete who excels at knocking down long-range shots.  He’s a 6’5” wing with great length and size that’s an offensive nightmare for the opposition.  Pearson is a good shooter with NBA 3-point range.  He is also a solid scorer off the dribble.  With his craftiness and length, Pearson can get to the rim and score on anyone.  He is a better athlete than advertised.  While many label Pearson as just a scorer he is a solid playmaker and always looks for the open teammate.  Nijal is also a good rebounder and has the tools to guard the 1-3 positions.  Nijal started his pro career playing for Roanne in ProA France.

Nijal spent his college career at Texas State.  As a senior he averaged 19.4ppg, 5.4rpg, and 2.5apg.  Pearson scored over 2,00 career points at Texas State, becoming their all-time leading scorer.  He was named the Sun Belt Conference POY (2020).   Nijal was also named to the All-Sun Belt Conference 1^st Team in 2019 and 2020.
