Career Highlights
Hollis is a strong, athletic, and versatile wing. His size and strength make him a weapon at three positions- SG, SF, and PF. He is a wing with good physical tools at 6’8 220lbs. His standout trait is definitely his jump shot, never shooting below 40%3FG from long range. He is a long-range specialist, and has the mechanics, quick release and size to be able to get his shot off against anyone. Hollis has clear NBA range, and an “easy,” natural shot that allows him to hit shots spotting up, off screening action, and off simple 2 dribble pull-ups against hard closeouts. He is a good athlete who covers a lot of ground when running, and who shows nice leaping skills when he has a head of steam. He is a smooth and fluid athlete, can finish above the rim and has the length and leaping skills to convert in traffic. Hollis has a very high basketball IQ and rarely goes out of his comfort zone. He has no problems passing the ball in the flow of the offense. On the defensive end he uses his length to bother jump shooters, and is a solid shot blocker for a wing. Thompson is also a solid rebounding wing who can play multiple positions.

Hollis has played four years in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Pelicans. Thompson is listed 6th in the 76ers history in 3-point percentage at around 40%FG. His career best year in the NBA was in 2015/16 where he averaged 10ppg, 4rpg, and 1.3apg with the 76ers. Hollis also played a couple of years in the Gleague with Northern Arizona Suns, Austin Toros, and Tulsa 66ers. He has also played NBA Summer League with the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, and Los Angeles Clippers. He has also played in Euroleague with Olympiacos.

Prior to his professional career Hollis played 3 seasons in college with Georgetown Hoyas. As a junior he averaged 12.8ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.5apg, and 43%3FG. He was named to the All-Big East Honorable Mention (2012). He left Georgetown as an NBA Early Entry Candidate in 2012, where he went undrafted.

Holis enrolled at Georgetown in January 2009 and practiced with the team during the second semester. He averaged 18.6ppg, 9rpg, and 4apg as a junior at Loyola High School.

Hollis was born on April 3, 1991 in Pasadena, CA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business. He is the son of Debra Shaw and Keith Thompson. He has two brothers and two sisters. His favorite basketball player is James Worthy.

“From the moment I signed with Scott and Rize he has shown 100% commitment to me. He works harder than anyone in the business and has a deep rolodex of contacts both in the NBA and overseas.”
