Career Highlights
Deishuan is a big lead guard with a good amount of mismatch potential. Excellent size for a PG, standing 6’3” with a long wingspan and a solid frame. He has strong finishing ability due to size and body control. He also is a good athlete. Booker leads by example more than by his loud voice and has a very high basketball IQ. His size and length are major assets on both ends of the floor and give him a huge physical advantage at the PG position. Due to his size he has the versatility on offensive to slide over and play some SG as well, defensively he can guard 3 positions. Deishuan has a real knack in getting his hands in the lane on the defensive end. He has a great ability to finish in the lane and in the midrange area. Deishuan is also a very good shooter and has clear NBA three-point range. Booker is good at drawing contact at the rim and getting to the line at a good rate. He is an excellent free throw shooter. He is pass first PG but when needed he can score with the best of them. Deishuan is ambidextrous, he can shoot with either hand. He has the ideal size and length for a PG; he moves well laterally, and he plays with good energy and craftiness.

In his senior season at Long Beach State, Deishuan led his team in points per game (19ppg), assists per game (4.4apg), and steals per game (1.3spg). Also as a senior he was named to the All-Big West 1st Team (2019) and Big West All-Tournament Team (2019). As a junior Deishuan averaged 11ppg, 3.5rpg, 5apg, and 1.5spg. “I signed with Scott and Rize as a rookie out of college and they have been great. They provided me with top level pre-draft resources such as a team of trainers and really guided me thru the process. I got tons of NBA looks and also great offers overseas. Scott and his staff are easy to talk to and anything I needed he provided quickly.”
