Career Highlights

Harper is a very strong big man who can play either the power forward or center position. Harper has a very high basketball IQ and is a true team player. Harper is willing to sacrifice his own statistics for the betterment of the team. He possesses the post moves to score inside with anyone, but he can also step out and knock down the 3-point shot. Harper has a nice lefty touch and if given space can stroke the ball from anywhere on the court. After playing at Cal, Harper has had success playing professional basketball in the top leagues of Greece and Macedonia.

As a senior (2011/12), Harper was fourth in scoring at 12ppg and second in rebounds at 6rpg. As a senior Harper received All-Pac-12 2nd Team honors and also received All-Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the year. As a junior Harper had his best statistical season. He led the team in scoring at 14ppg and was second in rebounding with 6rpg. Again as a junior Harper was named to the All-Pac-10 2nd Team.

Harper attended Mountain View HS in Mesa, Arizona. He averaged 18.4ppg, 8rpg, and 4.1 apg as a senior. He was rated the No. 7 PF/C in the west by


Harper was born on September 3, 1988, in Mesa, Arizona. Parents are Lane and Nicole Lamp. In his free time he likes to play chess or spend time outdoors. He is also a connoisseur of coffee. Harper’s favorite basketball player is Charles Barkley.
